I was surprised to discover that a few well-known sites with proven huge income have no public user agreements or privacy policies. It was a little confusing because such a practice is uncommon nowadays. And there isn't a single cookie preference banner to be found.

Personally, I would not waste any time putting together all of this legal documentation for a project that has barely begun. However, we use a popular OAuth solution that requires all legal documents to be in order, making it impossible for us to avoid such tasks.

A clear conclusion; not everything that the majority of individuals considered valuable will be useful to you or your company.
